Operation Head

**Company Overview**

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and guidance for the entire poultry farm operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of poultry production, including breeding, hatching, broiler rearing, and management of layer flocks.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize farm efficiency, biosecurity, and animal welfare.
• Monitor and maintain the health, nutrition, and hygiene of poultry, identifying and addressing any potential disease outbreaks or biosecurity risks.
• Manage and coordinate the supply chain, including feed procurement, distribution, and efficient utilization of resources.
• Lead and motivate a team of farm managers and workers, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards related to poultry farming, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of farm facilities, equipment, and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align production with customer demand and ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee budget planning and monitor expenses, aiming for optimal resource allocation and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, veterinary science, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (minimum 6-7 years) in managing poultry farm operations, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial poultry production practices, biosecurity protocols, and animal husbandry.
• Familiarity with farm management software and tools for efficient record-keeping and analysis.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Exceptional organization and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic language proficiency is an advantage).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.
• Demonstrated understanding of Saudi Arabia's agricultural industry and regulatory environment is preferred.
