Operation/ Chartering Manager Business Development

About This Role

We are seeking a highly experienced professional in the maritime sector with strong expertise in ship sales, purchase, and chartering, as well as deep technical knowledge of vessel operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commercial mindset and the ability to contribute directly to the development and growth of our shipping company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute ship sale, purchase, and chartering transactions.
• Conduct technical assessments of vessels, including condition evaluations and operational readiness.
• Oversee maintenance planning, dry‑dock coordination, and compliance with maritime regulations.
• Develop commercial strategies to expand the company’s fleet operations and market presence.
• Identify new business opportunities and negotiate contracts with shipowners, brokers, and clients.
• Provide expert guidance on vessel performance, cost optimization, and operational improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Extensive experience in the maritime industry, specifically in S&P (Sale & Purchase) and chartering.
• Strong technical background in vessel operations, engineering, or marine management.
• Proven commercial acumen with the ability to drive business growth.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and market analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to strategic decision‑making.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Chartering Operation in UAE: 8 years (Preferred)
