About This Role
Overview
OpenShift and IBM Cloud PAK: OpenShift Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in container orchestration, cloud-native application deployment, and platform automation.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-grade OpenShift environments to support scalable and secure application delivery.
Minimum 5 years of experience in OpenShift engineering or container platform administration
Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift CLI & Web Console
Proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting
Experience
with CI/CD tools Jenkins, GitLab
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
Certified as a Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or equivalent
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Experience
with IBM Cloud Pak for Integration, Automation, or Data
Knowledge of Service Mesh, API Gateway, and Istio
Exposure to GitOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Familiarity with IBM Licensing, Entitlement Registry, and Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM)
experience
with IBM Cloud Pak deployments and configurations
Design, deploy, and manage IBM Cloud Pak solutions (e.g., Cloud Pak for Integration, Automation, Data, Security) on Red Hat OpenShift
Configure and maintain OpenShift clusters in on-premises, cloud, or hybrid environments
