Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first responder for hardware and connectivity issues in stadiums (MD and MD-1 support).
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance: Reseat, replace, or terminate copper and fibre cables Power cycle/reboot network devices (servers, switches, routers) Clean, re-angle, and reposition cameras as needed

• Connect to networking equipment via laptop for diagnostics (with remote engineering support)
• Replace hardware components (e.g., cameras, cables, connectors) with provided equipment
• Document actions and issues post-visit via internal reporting systems
• Coordinate with stadium staff and remote support teams in a professional manner
• Use ladders and access elevated or restricted areas to maintain or inspect equipment
• Be on call for urgent match-day (-1) support when required

Requirements

• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of networking hardware (Ethernet/fibre, switches, servers, routers) Comfortable using laptops for diagnostics and basic configuration Experience with hand tools, camera mounts, cable management Familiarity with cable termination (RJ45) is a plus

• Other Requirements: English proficiency (B1–B2 minimum) to communicate with remote teams and complete documentation Availability on weekends and during match-day hours (some weekdays may also be required) Ability to work independently and solve problems under pressure Comfortable with heights, ladder usage, and following health & safety protocols Willingness to travel locally/regionally and transport equipment when needed (a vehicle is an asset)
