Overview
We are seeking an experienced On-Site Project Manager to support the execution of a large-scale construction and facility development project.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary on-site representative, ensuring effective coordination between contractors, vendors, consultants, and project stakeholders while maintaining alignment with project objectives, schedules, and quality standards.
Project Execution & Coordination
- Oversee daily on-site activities across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate activities among contractors, subcontractors, equipment vendors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Ensure integration between base-building readiness and specialized facility fit-out activities.
- Support equipment delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and project turnover activities.
- Identify and manage field-level coordination issues, constructability concerns, and interface risks.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the primary on-site point of contact for project stakeholders.
- Participate in daily coordination meetings, project progress reviews, inspections, and turnover activities.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and concerns to project leadership in a timely manner.
- Maintain professional working relationships while ensuring project objectives are protected.
Field Leadership & Issue Resolution
- Drive day-to-day coordination among contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
- Track action items, open issues, and project dependencies through resolution.
- Support resolution of site issues impacting installation, fit-out activities, commissioning, and handover.
- Identify schedule, coordination, and execution risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
Compliance, Safety & Quality
- Promote adherence to site safety requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with project teams and authorities regarding required approvals and inspections.
- Monitor site conditions and execution risks that could impact project quality, compliance, or schedule.
Reporting & Communication
- Provide regular progress updates, including project status, risks, and key decisions.
- Support progress reporting, milestone tracking, and short-term look-ahead planning.
- Maintain awareness of project milestones and potential schedule variances.
- Assist with project controls, change management, and deliverable tracking.
Qualifications
- 8–15 years of project management, construction management, or site leadership experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale design-build construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of site development, utilities, building systems, and construction coordination.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently on-site while maintaining alignment with project leadership.
Preferred
- Saudi citizen.
- Experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, healthcare, laboratory, or other regulated facility environments.
- Familiarity with Saudi regulations, permitting processes, and authority approvals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
