Offshore Service Technical Manager

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise offshore service operations, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
• Provide technical leadership and support to offshore teams and field engineers.
• Ensure all offshore activities comply with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate offshore service campaigns and resources.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Liaise with clients to ensure service quality, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships.
• Review and approve technical reports, service documentation, and performance data.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades.
• Coordinate with onshore teams (engineering, logistics, procurement) for seamless operations.
• Ensure proper training and competency development of offshore personnel.
• Manage budgets, cost control, and resource allocation for offshore services.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, or related field).
• 4+ years of experience in offshore operations or oil & gas services. (middle east experience will be added advantage)
• Strong technical knowledge of offshore systems and equipment
• .
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Familiarity with international offshore safety standards (e.g., HSE, ISO).
• Experience with project management and service delivery.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to travel offshore and work in challenging environments.
