Offshore HSE Superintendent
This role is suited for a highly motivated HSE professional with strong offshore construction experience and a proven background in pipeline installation, heavy lifting, SIMOPS, and offshore execution activities.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Promote and drive project HSE culture, policies, and objectives offshore
✔ Monitor contractor compliance with project HSE requirements and procedures
✔ Conduct HSE inspections, audits, toolbox talks, meetings, and trainings
✔ Support PTW, SIMOPS/COMOPS, JSA, risk assessments, and incident investigations
✔ Ensure implementation of safe systems of work during offshore construction activities
✔ Monitor HSE KPIs, action trackers, emergency drills, and contractor performance
✔ Participate in offshore readiness reviews and execution planning
✔ Lead weekly/monthly HSE meetings and site tours with contractor teams
✔ Promote continuous improvement and strong HSE leadership onsite
Requirements
✅ Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Safety, Environmental, or related discipline
✅ NEBOSH or equivalent HSE certification
✅ Minimum 15 years of verifiable offshore HSE experience
✅ Strong experience in offshore construction, pipelay, heavy lift, hot work, and commissioning activities
✅ Familiar with international offshore HSE standards and procedures
✅ OPITO Certifications Required
