About This Role
Job Purpose
The Officer – Operations (Individual Life) is responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of individual Takaful products and operational workflows within the Life Department.
The role includes policy issuance, maintenance, renewals, data management, and regulatory compliance, ensuring operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and alignment with Takaful principles.
Policy Administration
- Process accurate and timely issuance of individual Takaful policies
- Manage renewals, endorsements, and amendments
- Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance
Data Management
- Maintain accurate policyholder records in core systems
- Ensure data integrity across all records
- Manage physical and digital filing systems
Customer & Stakeholder Support
- Act as a key point of contact for policyholders, brokers, and agents
- Handle inquiries and provide policy-related clarifications
- Coordinate with underwriting and sales teams for smooth operations
Operations & Process Improvement
- Support operational efficiency and workflow improvements
- Implement SOPs and ensure compliance across processes
- Contribute to enhancing customer experience
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies
- Support audits and regulatory inspections
- Prepare operational reports and KPI tracking
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Claims, Underwriting, and Customer Service teams
- Support resolution of operational issues
- Assist in training and supporting junior team members
Requirements
- We are looking for candidates with
- hands-on experience in insurance operations
- , preferably in:
- Customer Service
- Policy Administration
• Life Insurance / Takaful Operations
Candidates with
Business Analyst experience within insurance operations
