Requirements
- A Michigan Property & Casualty insurance license is required, and a Michigan Life & Health liccense is strongly preferred. Insurance agency experience is also preferred.
Responsibilities
- What You’ll Do
- Oversee the daily operations and workflow of the Caro office
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to office staff
- Help establish priorities and ensure tasks and customer follow-ups are completed
- Monitor workflow, productivity, attendance, and office expectations
- Assist with training and development of team members
- Provide excellent service to current and prospective customers by phone, text, email, and in person
- Assist customers with policy questions, payments, documents, policy changes, and other service needs
- Identify opportunities to help customers with additional insurance products
- Support new business and retention efforts
- Maintain accurate customer notes, documentation, and follow-up activities
- Help resolve customer concerns and more complex service situations
- Maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming office environment
- Communicate regularly with agency ownership regarding staffing, workflow, customer concerns, and office performance
- Step in wherever needed to help the office and team succeed
