Role Overview
We are looking for a responsible, self-driven, and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our 13,000 sq. ft. office space.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, presents themselves professionally at all times, and ensures the office environment is spotless and ready for staff operations every morning.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the entire office (13,000 sq. ft.) is thoroughly cleaned and fully ready for staff by 9:45 AM every working day.
- Follow the prescribed daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule without fail.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, meeting rooms, reception areas, corridors, pantry, washrooms, and all common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all floors and surfaces as per the cleaning plan.
- Empty and dispose of waste bins in compliance with waste management guidelines.
- Replenish consumables such as hand wash, tissue paper, and toilet rolls as needed.
- Carry out spot cleaning and attend to spills or messes immediately when reported.
- Follow instructions from office staff and management regarding specific cleaning requirements or priorities.
- Proactively identify areas that require extra attention and act without waiting to be told.
- Maintain cleanliness of cleaning equipment and store all supplies properly after use.
- Report any damage, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements
- Must be able to understand basic spoken and written English and Hindi.
- Must be able to speak very basic English and Hindi to communicate effectively with staff and management.
Personal Attributes
- Self-driven and motivated — able to plan and execute daily tasks without constant supervision.
- Strong ability to prioritize cleaning tasks based on urgency and operational needs.
- Serious, responsible, and committed attitude towards work and hygiene standards.
- Well-groomed and presentable at all times while on duty - clean uniform, neat appearance, and good personal hygiene are mandatory.
- Punctuality is strictly monitored; consistent lateness will not be tolerated.
- Respectful and professional in interactions with all office staff and visitors.
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial office or facility cleaning is preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safe handling procedures is an advantage.
- Candidates with no experience but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn will also be considered.
Work Schedule & Benefits
- Working Days: 6 days a week with 1 fixed weekly day off.
- Reporting Time: As per Shift
- All other benefits as applicable under the Labour Law (leave entitlement, end-of-service gratuity, health insurance, etc.).
- Pay: AED1,500.00 per month
