Role Description
The Office Assistant role at Passive Journal is a full-time, hybrid position based in Doha, Qatar, with some flexibility to work from home.
The Office Assistant will handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as answering calls, managing emails, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records.
This role will support office operations by organizing files, preparing basic documents, and assisting with data entry and simple reporting.
The Office Assistant will help manage office supplies and equipment, coordinate with internal teams and external visitors, and ensure a tidy, professional workspace.
The role requires consistent communication with colleagues, timely follow-up on requests, and a proactive approach to supporting office efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills for handling calls and inquiries.
- Proven administrative assistance and clerical skills for managing schedules, records, and office documentation.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners, copiers).
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Comfort with basic computer applications (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets); experience with office software or scheduling tools is a plus.
- Previous experience in an office support or administrative role is preferred but not strictly required.
- Ability to work on-site in Doha, Qatar, with flexibility for hybrid arrangements, and to collaborate respectfully in a diverse, inclusive environment.
