Job Description – Odoo Developer & IT Support Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Odoo Developer & IT Support Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and customizing our Odoo ERP system, providing day-to-day IT support, maintaining our business systems, and assisting with the integration of production software and shop-floor operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both software development and practical IT support in a manufacturing environment.

· Customize and develop Odoo modules to meet business requirements.

· Modify existing workflows, reports, forms, dashboards, and automated processes.

· Develop new features using Python and the Odoo framework.

· Create and maintain custom reports (PDF, Excel, QWeb).

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Odoo environment.

· Upgrade and maintain custom modules while ensuring compatibility with future Odoo releases.

· Develop API integrations with third-party applications.

· Assist with the integration of Odoo with manufacturing software, barcode systems, label printers, scanners, and other business applications.

· Develop and maintain data synchronization between different systems.

· Support database management and data migration when required.

· Provide technical support to office and factory users.

· Install, configure, and maintain PCs, printers, barcode scanners, label printers, and network devices.

· Troubleshoot Windows, networking, and hardware issues.

· Support users with Microsoft Office and business software.

· Maintain system backups and assist in disaster recovery procedures.

· Coordinate with external IT vendors when necessary.

· Document all custom developments and configurations.

· Maintain technical documentation for future maintenance.

· Record system changes and troubleshooting procedures.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

· 2–5 years of experience with Odoo development.

· Experience providing IT technical support in a business environment.

· Experience working with ERP systems.

· Strong knowledge of Odoo development.

· Python programming.

· PostgreSQL.

· XML and QWeb.

· JavaScript (basic to intermediate).

· REST APIs.

· Git version control.

· Windows Server and Windows desktop administration.

· Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).

· Microsoft Office administration.

· Experience with manufacturing companies (preferred).

· Knowledge of inventory and warehouse management (preferred).

· Experience integrating barcode scanners and label printers (preferred).

· Familiarity with Docker and Linux (preferred).

· Knowledge of Odoo Manufacturing (MRP), Inventory, Purchase, Sales, Accounting, and Quality modules (preferred).

· Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools (preferred).

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
