Role Description
The Ocean Import Operations Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Jebel Ali, United Arab Emirates.
The role involves managing day-to-day import operations, ensuring efficient cargo handling and timely deliveries.
Key responsibilities
include handling import logistics, coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements, and providing excellent customer service to clients.
The successful candidate will work closely with local and international teams to address logistics challenges and facilitate seamless operations.
Qualifications
· Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in ocean import operations.
· Strong knowledge of shipping line procedures and UAE Customs formalities.
·
Experience
in Dubai Trade / Mirsal II is an added advantage.
· Solid understanding of DO collection, port payments, BOE processing, and transport coordination.
· Well-versed with UAE locations for efficient local delivery coordination.
· Strong expertise in import logistics, including managing import processes and documentation.
· Proven experience in import operations with a high level of accuracy and regulatory compliance.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
· Ability to multitask, solve problems efficiently, and manage tight deadlines.
· Knowledge of global logistics and freight forwarding practices is an advantage.
· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and logistics management systems.
· Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
