**Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Dubai.
The Occupational Therapist will assess clients’ functional abilities, sensory needs, and daily living skills, and develop individualized treatment plans for children, adolescents, and adults.
Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering one-on-one (and group) therapy sessions, documenting progress, and adjusting interventions based on client response and goals.
The role involves collaborating closely with families, caregivers, physicians, psychologists, and other therapists to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
The Occupational Therapist will also contribute to case discussions, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, and engage in ongoing professional development to maintain high standards of
practice.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical foundation in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, intervention planning, and evidence-based treatment techniques.
- Knowledge of Rehabilitation principles, functional training, and strategies to improve independence in daily activities and participation at home, school, and community.
- Understanding of Pediatrics and child development, with experience or interest in working with children and adolescents with diverse needs.
- Effective Communication skills for working with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team, including clear documentation and family education.
- Relevant degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution and eligibility for licensing/registration in Dubai or the UAE.
- Experience in medical or clinical settings (Medicine or allied health environment) is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based, family-centered practice and to manage a varied caseload with cultural sensitivity.
- Commitment to ongoing learning, ethical practice, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of therapeutic approaches and best practices.**
