About This Role

Overview

Implementation of Oracle Platform OBLX, OBDX to GCC counties and International Banking locations.

This job is being created to support this expansion and to reinforce the Subject Matter expertise of the new Oracle OBDX platform within the bank.

The person in the role will act as the Techno-Functional Expert and System Analyst and its interactions/dependences with other bank systems and country applications/networks.

The Technical Analyst will have a range of responsibilities from analyzing the technical requirements, understanding of the infrastructure, performing product deployments to ensuring that we stay on the leading edge of technology.

Technical Analyst will be expected to contribute across the full technology stack, front to back for the platform.

As a Technical Analyst, the individual will interact with a cross-functional team and with the Product Owner, Designers and engineers.

Key Result Areas

  • Subject Matter expert of the OBDX/Channel. Work in partnership with GTB Product Owners, Business Analyst, and other Technology teams.
  • Domain knowledge of OBDX/Channel banking or similar banking platform
  • Should be able to understand Business requirements and translate this to vendor specific documents.
  • Should be able to Setup, Manage and validate build from vendor.
  • Active engagement with the entire product organization with consideration to business drivers, anticipate roadblocks, encourage contributions from the entire QA and quickly address concerns.
  • Perform deployments, Measure impacts, gather issues Information and Coordinate with vendor on Issues Resolution.
  • Analyze System issues, participate in Root Cause Analysis and participation in decision for issues prioritization.
  • Support SIT, Regressions, Performance tuning and integrations - Strategy, Scenarios and cases.
  • Perform Impact assessments of Change Request on Implemented products and facilitate Production deployments.
  • Support business and Operations through various Testing Cycles and work as per defined SLA Vendor.
  • Should manage and Track OBDX System Performance, Participate technically and functionally in process optimization.
  • Ensure technology projects have got approvals from ISG, Technology architecture, hardware sizing and also meet all audit controls.
  • Coordinate product training for Business & Operations users.

Stakeholder Management and Leadership

  • Manage Key stake holders during Business process interactions and reviews.
  • Manage Technology stakeholders for deployments.
  • Provide innovative solutions and influence senior management to take critical decisions by providing recommendations.

Strategic Thinking

  • Manage Conflicting requirements
  • Optimize technology solution delivery based on business requirements, existing applications, latest technology trends, total cost to operate, scalability and stability.
  • Provide innovative approaches to Business problems by utilizing existing applications / recommending enhancements.
  • Strategic thinking skills – ability to anticipate upcoming trends and changes in the broader environment and apply them to create competitive advantage .

Decision Making Authority & Responsibility

  • Primary responsibility of Solution analysis for Business case leading the change delivery,
  • Change prioritization and end to end impact assessments & implementation of changes in-line with business objectives/priorities.
  • Co-ordinate Testing and Release
  • Performance Management
  • Attract, develop, and retain the highest quality Tech professionals to ensure the continuous and timely support to business growth
  • Work with team members participating in back up and training activities.
  • Adhere to bank's operational risk policy.
  • Internal functions and work practices as per policy, compliance and procedures of the organization.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Postgraduate
  • 10+ years’ experience in experience OBDX/Channel having Corporate Banking implementation.
  • Subject Matter expertise and hands-on experience of OBDX/Channels.
  • Should have 5+ years of working experience in OBDX/Channel.
  • Should have worked on the Product Designing and implementation with respect to Business requirements.
  • Cross border team working experience.
  • Knowledge of Banking domain is a must
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

• Excellent Business Process Management Experience

  • Experience of working in large scale transformation Project – involving Process optimization and changes.
  • Good verbal and written communication including ability to prepare system documentation.
  • Ability to interpret solution documentation and identify areas of concern and recommend approach.
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to document integration and detailed design specs for large scale banking applications.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with business users and Tech lead
  • Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces.
  • Ability to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support.
  • Working knowledge and experience in designing distributed applications
  • Working knowledge and experience in deploying and exposing APIs using API Connect
  • Salary up to 22K AED
