About This Role
Overview
- Develop new business opportunities for NVOCC and shipping services
- Promote FCL, LCL, cross trade, freight forwarding, and logistics solutions
- Identify and approach potential customers through field visits, networking, and cold calling
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepare freight quotations and negotiate rates with customers
- Follow up on inquiries, bookings, and shipment status
- Coordinate with operations and customer service teams for smooth shipment execution
- Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets set by management
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements
- Maintain updated customer database and sales reports in CRM/system
- Attend client meetings, exhibitions, and industry networking events
- Generate import/export leads and increase shipment volume
- Resolve customer complaints and provide timely solutions
- Ensure proper follow-up on payments and outstanding invoices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in NVOCC / Freight Forwarding / Shipping sales
- Strong knowledge of ocean freight, container logistics, trade lanes, and Incoterms
- Existing customer base in UAE market preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong sales and relationship management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- Valid UAE driving license preferred
- Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
