Actively participates in the interdisciplinary patient care process providing recommendations and education based on nutrition expertise.

Researching the effects of nutrition on health and fitness

Remains abreast of current research in areas of expertise through networking and continuing education activities.

Collaborate with the Food Service Manager on nutritional management for clients.

Assists on menu preparation.

Reviews menus to assure they are in alignment with the NYC DOH food standards.

Assures nutritional guidelines are met for all clients with special food needs.
