About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Lead Engineer to act as the on-site technical lead for Nutanix AI infrastructure environments. The role is responsible for driving reliability, stability, and operational excellence across platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Enforcing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) standards and best practices.
  • Owning the reliability roadmap.
  • Ensuring consistent implementation across teams.
  • Serves as the primary liaison with vendors for technical coordination and issue resolution.
  • Overseeing release gate approvals for safe and controlled deployments into production environments.
  • Mentoring and guiding SRE engineers to strengthen team capability and maturity.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and platforms.
  • Familiarity with automation and monitoring tools.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices.
  • Experience with AI and machine learning systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

This position is focused on ensuring the reliability of critical AI infrastructure within Nutanix environments. The role requires close collaboration with multiple teams and vendors, emphasizing operational excellence and technical leadership.
