Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Nursing Assistant role based in Doha, Qatar.
The Nursing Assistant will support nursing staff in delivering quality patient care by assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, providing emotional support, and ensuring patients' comfort and safety.
Additional responsibilities include preparing medical equipment, maintaining clean environments, and reporting patient concerns to the nursing team.
The role necessitates compassion, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living activities
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and effective communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and collaborate with licensed nurses and healthcare teams
- Attention to cleanliness and hygiene in maintaining a safe healthcare environment
- Empathy and interpersonal skills to provide emotional support for patients
- Prior experience in a healthcare or caregiving setting is a plus
- Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program or equivalent qualification
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
