Overview

Key Responsibilities

• **Leadership & Management:**
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and educational standards.
• Lead and support the nursery staff, including teachers and administrative personnel, to create a professional and positive working environment.
• Ensure the nursery operates efficiently with a focus on excellence in early childhood education.
• **Curriculum Development:**
• Collaborate with educators to design and implement a dynamic, child-centered curriculum that meets both the developmental needs of children and local educational guidelines.
• Ensure that teaching methods are in line with current best practices in early childhood education.
• **Staff Supervision & Development:**
• Manage the recruitment, training, and professional development of nursery staff.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to educators and other staff members.
• Promote a collaborative team culture with a focus on continuous improvement and innovative teaching techniques.
• **Parent & Community Engagement:**
• Maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication, meetings, and updates on children’s progress.
• Organize parent engagement activities, workshops, and conferences to foster a strong home-school partnership.
• **Compliance & Safety:**
• Ensure all policies and procedures comply with local regulations, health, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular safety checks of the facility and ensure a safe and stimulating environment for children.
• **Strategic Planning:**
• Contribute to the long-term vision and strategic goals of the nursery.
• Identify opportunities for growth and improvement, such as expanding nursery services or introducing new programs.

Requirements

• **Education:**
• Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, or a Master’s Degree in any other subject with relevant experience.
• **Experience:**
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Nursery Principal or in a similar leadership role within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory standards and compliance requirements in early childhood education.
• **Skills & Abilities:**
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate staff.
