About the Role
A creative and child-centered early years setting is seeking a passionate and experienced **Nursery Supervisor** to lead classroom operations and support the delivery of a holistic, play-based learning experience.
The ideal candidate will combine a fun, social and upbeat personality with strong leadership skills and a solid background in early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom activities and ensure a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment.
- Implement the EYFS Curriculum enriched with a Creative Play approach to promote children’s development and wellbeing.
- Plan and deliver creative, experiential and age-appropriate activities and events.
- Supervise staff and allocated areas, ensuring all learning spaces are safe, well-organized and child-friendly.
- Organize classroom resources and supplies to support Creative Play.
- Provide personalized instruction that encourages interactive and imaginative learning.
- Observe, evaluate and document children’s progress and prepare periodic reports for parents and management.
- Foster positive and professional relationships with children, parents and team members.
Requirements
- University degree in Early Childhood / Education
- or
- University degree in another field combined with a certified professional certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (Cache Level 3)
- High school degree combined with a professional certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (Cache Level 3) or minimum two years of practical experience in an early childhood setting
- **2–5 years of experience** in a nursery or similar early years environment
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, child development and play-based learning approaches
- Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Positive, energetic and creative personality with a genuine passion for working with young children
