Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled **Home Care Nurse / Caregiver** to provide 24-hour live-in care for patients at home.
The role requires experience in handling patients with specialized medical needs, particularly those requiring **Tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and NGT**.
The ideal candidate should be patient, responsible, and dedicated to ensuring the highest standard of personalized care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide round-the-clock nursing and caregiving support to the patient.
- Perform **tracheostomy care** including suctioning, cleaning, and monitoring for complications.
- Manage **PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) feeding** and ensure proper hygiene and nutritional delivery.
- Handle **NGT (Nasogastric Tube) feeding and care** as prescribed by the physician.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor the patient’s condition.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, mobility, and toileting.
- Monitor vital signs, record observations, and report changes in condition to the physician/family.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to the patient.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home care environment.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers for continuity of care.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Nursing degree / caregiver certification (preferred: DHA/MOH/DOH license or eligibility in UAE).
- Proven experience in home care or hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with **Tracheostomy, PEG, and NGT care**.
- Ability to manage emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Good communication skills in English/Hindi (Arabic is an advantage).
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to patient well-being.
- Willingness to work on a **24-hour stay-in duty** basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
