Inpatient Newborn NP/PA – Salisbury, Maryland
TidalHealth is seeking an experienced NP/PA to join our inpaitent newborn care team at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, Maryland . This is a part-time opportunity focused on morning coverage and is ideal for an APP with newborn experience looking for a consistent, flexible schedule.
We welcome Acute Care Nurse Practitioners, Family Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants with appropriate newborn experience.
Opportunity Highlights
0.45 FTE, part-time position
Three mornings per week
One weekend per month
Collaborative care model with pediatric, neonatal, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams

Base Salary Range- $58,000-$72,000 for .45 FTE (commiserate with experience)
Position Responsibilities
- The APP will support the care of pediatric and newborn patients, working collaboratively with physicians, nursing, and other members of the clinical team. Responsibilities may include:
- Evaluation and management of newborn and pediatric patients
- Performing newborn examinations and routine newborn care
- Identifying and managing common newborn conditions
- Supporting newborn stabilization and escalation of care when appropriate
- Developing and implementing individualized plans of care
- Coordinating care and discharge planning
- Communicating with and educating parents and families
- Collaborating with pediatricians, neonatology, nursing, and other clinical team members
- Participating in quality improvement and departmental initiatives
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Acute Care NP, Family NP, or Physician Assistant
- Current or eligible for Maryland licensure
- Newborn care experience preferred
- NRP certification as required
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
