Qualifications

  • Educational Requirements and/or Experience Required
  • At least a high school diploma. Prior driving experience is necessary. Satisfactory driving record (within the last 3 years) is necessary.
  • Skills
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Able to interpret instructions
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Ability to operate warehouse machinery
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance on a regular basis
  • Ability to sit for several hours at a time
  • Good driving record and able to pass a background check

Responsibilities

  • Typical duties for the Delivery Driver include but are not limited to:
  • Delivery equipment, parts, and supplies to branches and customers daily
  • Load and unload merchandise using necessary machinery and tools
  • Operate forklifts
  • Perform daily DOT inspections
  • Ensure orderly vehicle
  • Complete appropriate paperwork for delivered merchandise
  • Follow company policies regarding vehicle maintenance, services and driver policies
  • Assist the inside sales representatives and/or warehouse personnel as needed
  • Must be able to lift/maneuver up to 50lbs. without machinery assistance
