NOC Engineer Satellite operation

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring and managing telecom and satellite operations within a Network Operations Center (NOC).
• Providing core-network support and troubleshooting.
• Analyzing signaling flows, routing tables, and authentication paths.
• Handling incident workflows and managing partner escalations in multi-vendor NOC environments.
• Required Experience
• 2–5 years of experience in NOC operations, telecom monitoring, satellite operations, or core-network support.
• Demonstrated experience with signaling flows, routing tables, authentication paths, or mobile-core elements.
• Practical exposure to multi-vendor NOC operations, incident management, and partner escalation processes.
• Technical Expertise
• Strong understanding of signaling protocols such as Diameter, SIP, and NAS.
• Proficiency in routing fundamentals and core-network behavior.
• Knowledge of telecom connectivity flows, including SIM activation, attach procedures, mobility, and authentication.
• Experience in analyzing logs, traces, routing tables, and performing event correlations across various network elements.
• Familiarity with OSS/NMS tools, alarm management, KPIs, dashboards, and monitoring platforms.
• Basic understanding of satellite network components, gateways, or hybrid RAN-core flows is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, basic scripting (Python/Bash), and troubleshooting tools.
• Work Location
• This contract role is based in the Makkah region, with work locations available in Jeddah or Makkah.
