With more than 70 years of experience, we're a diverse and growing business with opportunities to learn, develop and Grow with Lindsay's.

The Opportunity:

We're looking for a Nightshift Transport Allocator to join our Brisbane team, coordinating local driver runs and ensuring freight is planned, loaded and dispatched on time.

This is a hands-on role where no two shifts are necessarily the same. You'll need to stay organised, adapt when priorities change and work closely with drivers and depot teams to keep the operation running smoothly.

If you enjoy taking ownership, making decisions and being part of a team that gets the job done, we'd love to hear from you.

Nightshift roster options:

Sunday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Saturday

Start times will be confirmed for each position.

What You'll Do:

Coordinate local driver allocations and deliveries

Plan and build loads to meet customer requirements

Manage equipment and resources to support efficient operations

Raise and reconcile freight bills

Work closely with operations, depot teams, floor staff and maintenance

Ensure proof of delivery (POD) documentation is retrieved and uploaded

Monitor fleet performance and report against KPIs

Monitor compliance with fatigue, mass and maintenance requirements

Support safe work practices and conduct site safety audits

What You'll Bring:

Experience in transport allocation, scheduling, dispatch or a similar operations role

An understanding of fatigue management, mass limits and Chain of Responsibility requirements

Strong planning and problem-solving skills

The ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to change

Clear communication skills and the confidence to work with a diverse workforce

A logical, organised approach and the ability to take ownership of your work

Flexibility to work the required nightshift roster, including weekends

Why Join Lindsay?

You'll be part of a well-established national transport business where your contribution makes a real difference to daily operations. You'll have the opportunity to build your transport experience, develop your skills and explore future career opportunities as you grow with the business.
