Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial floor care, especially terrazzo and high-traffic carpet care.
- Extensive knowledge of janitorial practices, equipment, and cleaning solutions.
- Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in payroll software and managing administrative tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and supervise janitorial staff, ensuring efficient workflow and task assignment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing support to foster a positive work environment.
- Manage payroll for janitorial staff, ensuring accurate and timely processing, while maintaining records of cleaning schedules, supplies, and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and arranging repairs or replacements as needed.
- Ensure all janitorial activities comply with health and safety regulations, provide training on the safe handling of chemicals and equipment use, and investigate any accidents or incidents.
