Responsibilities

- Manage the day to day front desk operation overnight, ensuring procedures are adhered to and policies are followed
- Leading the team on nights, ensuring that our guests are greeted with a warm welcome and ensure a safe and secure environment overnight for both guests and associates
- Ensure that night audit procedures are completed and any discrepancies rectified
- Process any check-in and check-outs, arrange alternative accommodation for guests should an overbooking situation arise
- Ensure the security of the hotel and guests through regular documented patrols throughout the night
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns
- Ensure all guest complaints are resolved in a timely manner and logged correctly
- Be fully conversant with all statutory fire, legal, bomb, health and safety procedures and to take control in the event of an emergency
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
Safety and Company Policies
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to the manager
Complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Communicate with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
Support the team to reach common goals
Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
