Role overview
Reports to the New Product Induction Manager and supports research, sourcing, and data management for identifying, developing, and selling commercial and military aircraft replacement parts.
Responsibilities
- Work with department managers, sales directors, engineers, and supply-chain teams to identify, research, and induct new programs.
- Prepare, manage, and analyze large Excel market-data files to find product-development opportunities.
- Research aircraft technical publications, including IPCs, AMMs, and CMMs, and compile research packages for downstream users.
- Enter, maintain, and manage technical and sales data in CRM systems.
- Review, track, and update customer commitment and expectation requests.
- Capture and track new-product-induction metrics.
- Proactively seek process improvements and perform other assigned responsibilities.
Requirements and experience
- A bachelor's degree is required; a business degree with a technical background is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and/or a technical background is preferred.
- Aviation-related experience and familiarity with aircraft technical documentation are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, with emphasis on Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Must demonstrate organization, attention to detail, project-management ability, analytical thinking, and clear written and oral communication.
- Must be able to work in a team and under tight deadlines.
- Limited domestic and international travel is possible.
