Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified
Consultant Neurologist
to join a reputable healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will provide expert neurological care for adult patients, managing a broad spectrum of acute and chronic neurological disorders within inpatient and outpatient settings.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a modern, multidisciplinary environment with access to advanced diagnostic facilities and strong institutional support.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, headache disorders, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, and multiple sclerosis
- Provide inpatient consultations, outpatient clinics, and emergency neurological care
- Interpret and utilize neurological investigations such as EEG, EMG/NCS, MRI, CT, and neurophysiology studies
- Lead and participate in stroke and neuro-emergency pathways as required
- Develop individualized management and follow-up plans for patients
Multidisciplinary & Service Collaboration
- Work closely with neurosurgery, internal medicine, rehabilitation, radiology, and critical care teams
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions
- Provide specialist input and guidance to referring physicians
Quality, Education & Governance
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance, patient safety, and regulatory standards
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education
- Contribute to teaching, supervision, and mentoring of junior medical staff
