About the Role

Our client is seeking a Network Administrator to architect, secure, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across head office, remote sites, and cloud environments. This freelance opportunity is based in Riyadh and offers you the chance to drive high availability, Zero Trust architecture, and secure connectivity aligned with ISO 27001 & NCA ECC standards. You’ll be at the heart of mission-critical operations, ensuring seamless, secure, and resilient connectivity for a leading organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, and internet connectivity across KSA locations
• Administering Cisco Meraki environments to ensure performance, redundancy, and uptime
• Monitoring network health using SolarWinds, FortiAnalyzer, and Meraki Dashboard
• Implementing Zero Trust security, network segmentation, VPNs, and firewall policies
• Supporting SASE solutions (ZTNA, SWG, CASB) for secure remote access
• Managing hybrid cloud connectivity (Azure, Microsoft 365, OCI)
• Coordinating telecom services (DIA, Fiber, 5G – STC) and remote site connectivity
• Handling incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Maintaining network documentation and ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 & NCA ECC standards

Technical Skills

• Expertise in LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and firewall management
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki, SolarWinds, FortiAnalyzer, and Meraki Dashboard
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust security, network segmentation, and VPNs
• Experience with SASE solutions (ZTNA, SWG, CASB)
• Hybrid cloud connectivity (Azure, Microsoft 365, OCI)
• Telecom coordination (DIA, Fiber, 5G)
• Incident response and troubleshooting
• Network documentation and compliance

Preferred Certifications

• Cisco CCNA / CCNP / Meraki (ECMS)
• Fortinet NSE (NSE4+)
• Azure / OCI certifications (preferred)

What We’re Looking For

• 6–9 years of enterprise network administration experience
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to handle critical incidents under pressure
• Excellent communication and vendor coordination abilities
• Ownership mindset with a drive for impact and continuous improvement

Nice to Have

• Experience with SASE / Zero Trust environments
• Exposure to multi-site infrastructure
• Basic scripting/automation skills

Language Proficiency

• Professional proficiency in English is required

Other Requirements

• Familiarity with ISO 27001 & NCA ECC compliance frameworks
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus
