Role overview

Provides first-line onsite technical support and field engineering services to clients.

Manages standard and low-complexity incidents using established practices, procedures, and knowledge articles.

Aims to restore client services while avoiding missed Service Level Agreement conditions.

Key responsibilities

  • Configure, install, test, and maintain assigned client-site infrastructure.
  • Install and configure software included in client solutions.
  • Identify, log, investigate, and resolve incidents and problems.
  • Respond to alerts and escalate unresolved issues to the L2 Field Engineer.
  • Coordinate with clients, carriers, colleagues, and third-party vendors on resolutions.
  • Update incident progress and resolution details in the required platform.
  • Track and correct configuration items, components, and changes.
  • Provide first-line remote and onsite technical support.
  • Follow shift handover procedures for service continuity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computing, or a related field.
  • Associate-level certification in networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, or ACMA.
  • Entry-level experience in networking technologies, technical support, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and remote networking support.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances, and prioritize client needs.

Workplace

  • On-site working is required.
