Network and security responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure; troubleshoot issues and configure, install, and support network devices and services.
• Monitor network performance, security, and reliability, and implement network policies and procedures.
• Protect organizational data, systems, and networks by implementing security measures, identifying and mitigating threats, and conducting assessments, audits, and penetration testing.
• Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Design and manage wireless networks, configure equipment, optimize performance, and maintain wireless security.
• Design and manage VoIP systems, configure and troubleshoot hardware and software, optimize performance, and maintain security.
• Plan network infrastructure and develop network solutions to meet business requirements.
• Lead network project implementation and provide technical guidance and support to the network engineering team.

Qualifications

• Security+ certification or equivalent.
• Proven experience in network security or information security, with a deep understanding of security protocols and best practices.
• Proven wireless network engineering experience and in-depth knowledge of wireless networking protocols and standards.
• Wireless/network certifications listed include CWNA, CCNA Wireless, JNCIA-JUNOS, JNCIS-SP, JNCIP-SP, and JNCIE-SP, or equivalent.
• Proven VoIP engineering experience and in-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols and standards.
• CCNA Voice, CCNP Voice, or equivalent certification.
• Extensive network engineering and architecture experience.
• Enterprise network certifications listed include CCDA, CCDE, JNCIA-JUNOS, JNCIS-ENT, JNCIP-ENT, and JNCIE-ENT, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
