Role details

Education and experience

Network and security delivery

• Act as an escalation point for Help Desk and Level 2 engineers and an SME for network and security infrastructure.
• Design secure network architectures and prepare Basis of Design, SOW, HLD, LLD, and implementation plans.
• Implement firewalls, IPS, VPNs, SSL offload, DDoS protection, device hardening, and security controls.
• Design LAN, WAN, and VPN requirements for data centers and branches.
• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot complex networks; configure and support Layer 2 and Layer 3 routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Implement and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, WAN optimization, QoS, and traffic shaping.
• Manage project delivery from planning and design through implementation, testing, and handover; participate in functional design reviews.
• Handle incident, change, and problem management, root-cause analysis, and advanced issue resolution with OEM teams.
• Mitigate threats and vulnerabilities, validate configuration changes, close audit findings, and maintain security policy compliance.
• Support branch design and offsite deployment, installation, and hardware configuration.
• Maintain network configurations, diagrams, and procedures, and provide 24x7 critical operations support.

Platforms and technologies

• Aruba Central, Aruba CX/AOS/Comware switches, Aruba WLAN gateways and access points, and ClearPass Policy Manager.
• Juniper routers, switches, Mist access points, and SRX firewalls.
• FortiGate, Palo Alto, and Check Point firewalls.
• TACACS, RADIUS, and AAA; privilege-based access, password encryption, and secure terminal access.

Certifications and collaboration

• Any one listed certification or equivalent is accepted: Cisco CCNP Enterprise; Juniper JNCIP-ENT or JNCIP-MistAI; Aruba ACP or ACSP; PCNSE; or Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional.
