Role Summary
- The **Network Security Engineer** is responsible for securing and maintaining the organization’s network infrastructure to ensure availability, integrity, and secure connectivity across systems and services.### **Key Responsibilities:**
- Implement and maintain network security configurations (firewalls, VPNs, ACLs)
- Support secure network design and segmentation across environments
- Monitor network availability and security-related operational issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve network security incidents and outages
- Maintain firewall rules, routing policies, and network security standards
- Support change management for network security configurations
- Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams for secure operations
- Ensure compliance with IT security operational procedures
Key Requirements
- Strong experience in network operations and infrastructure security
- Hands-on knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco)
- Strong understanding of routing, switching, and network protocols
- Experience in operational troubleshooting and incident resolution
- Certifications such as CCNP or NSE preferred
