Network Planning GIS Specialist

Overview

Your role

• Develop, maintain, and manage GIS databases covering routes, stops, depots, and network assets.
• Perform spatial analysis to support route planning, service coverage, and accessibility improvements.
• Support planning of network expansions, BRT corridors, and depot locations.
• Produce high-quality maps, visualizations, and spatial reports for stakeholder decision-making.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integration of GIS data across planning and ITS systems.
• Coordinate with transport planners, data analysts, and operations teams on network updates.
• Support scenario modeling for service changes, demand shifts, and infrastructure upgrades.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Urban Planning, or Engineering.
• Minimum 7+ years' experience in GIS and spatial analysis, preferably in transport or infrastructure projects.
• Strong proficiency in ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent GIS platforms.
• Experience with spatial modeling, data management, and visualization tools.
• Familiarity with public transport systems and network planning concepts preferred.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
