Hiring: Network Performance Monitoring Engineer (NPM)

We are looking for a Network Performance Monitoring Engineer to operate and enhance enterprise monitoring platforms, ensuring high availability, performance visibility, and proactive issue detection across the network environment.

Salary Budget 15-16K AED with Single Benefits

Available in UAE with MOFA Attested Degree Certificate.

This role focuses on monitoring, observability, and operational support — not day-to-day server administration.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Administer and operate network performance monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds and Riverbed NetIM

• Configure and manage SNMP polling, device onboarding, health checks, thresholds, and alerts

• Monitor network availability, latency, utilization, and performance trends to proactively detect issues

• Analyze network and application performance ( TCP, UDP, HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS )

• Work on incidents using BMC ITSM, including investigation and resolution coordination

• Raise and manage change requests in BMC ITSM with proper documentation and approvals

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using monitoring data and historical trends

• Develop Linux shell and Python scripts to automate monitoring tasks

• Collaborate with Network, Security, Server, and Application teams to reduce MTTR

• Maintain dashboards, documentation, and operational procedures

Required Experience & Technical Skills

• 3+ years in Network Performance Monitoring / NMS roles

• Strong SNMP-based monitoring experience

• Hands-on with SolarWinds, Riverbed NetIM, or equivalent tools

• Linux & Windows server exposure (monitoring platform support)

• Linux shell scripting and Python scripting experience

• Hands-on experience with BNetwork Engineer (Riverbed)

• Strong understanding of TCP, UDP, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS

• Experience monitoring large-scale enterprise networks (DC, WAN, Branch, ISP)

• Alert tuning, noise reduction, and threshold optimization

• Dashboard creation and performance baselines

• ITIL process knowledge
