Oversee design and delivery of electrical and water distribution networks for development projects.
Coordinate network interfaces with telecommunications infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Review electrical network designs, drawings, and specifications, including medium- and low-voltage systems, substations, and cable routes.
- Review water network designs, drawings, and specifications, including pipelines, valves, and service connections.
- Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and water networks; resolve delivery issues.
- Coordinate with civil teams and utility providers to resolve electrical, water, and telecommunications network conflicts.
- Verify compliance with approved designs, utility requirements, and applicable quality and safety standards.
- Review as-built drawings and test records for handover.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of relevant infrastructure experience, including practical experience with both electrical and water distribution networks.
- Familiarity with telecommunications infrastructure, including ducts and fiber-optic routes, is an advantage.
