Network Engineer role focused on IT infrastructure, networking, and network security.
Requires 8 years of network infrastructure experience.
Required experience and qualifications
- ITIL certification is required.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, networking protocols, and security concepts is required.
- Experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation is required.
- Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory, DNS, HTTP/S, SSH, LDAP, and DHCP is specified.
- Good communication skills and ability to work occasional high-stress 24x7 on-call conditions are required.
Network expertise
- Network design, deployment, recovery, and management experience is highly desirable.
- Network capacity planning, security principles, and network management best practices are specified.
- Network performance management and tuning, security hardening, and network availability are specified.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts, frameworks, and standards is specified.
Pay
- Pay is AED 20,000 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN networks.
- Support network deployment, recovery, and management.
- Plan network capacity and apply network security principles and management best practices.
- Manage network performance and tuning, security hardening, and network availability.
- Provide on-call support under 24x7 conditions when required.
