About This Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Network Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain secure and robust network infrastructure within our cloud environments.
You will bridge traditional networking concepts with modern cloud automation, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for our cloud-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Design and implement virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, routing tables, and network security groups (NSGs) across AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate network provisioning and management using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Connectivity & Security: Configure VPNs, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, firewalls, and load balancers to ensure secure, reliable connectivity.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor network performance, latency, and throughput using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Datadog.
- Troubleshooting: Analyze network bottlenecks, identify security vulnerabilities, and resolve complex connectivity issues.
- Automation: Develop scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine network tasks and CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in network engineering, with 3+ years specifically in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Networking Knowledge: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, VLANs, and VPN technologies.
- Cloud Platforms: Expert knowledge of AWS networking (VPC, Route53, ALB/NLB) or Azure networking (VNets, Application Gateway).
- Automation/Scripting: Proficiency in IaC (Terraform) and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Security: Experience implementing security best practices such as least-privilege access and firewalls.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate).
- Experience with container networking (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per hour
