We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled
Netball Coach
to join our growing Netball programme, delivering high-quality coaching across Cognita schools in Dubai for children aged 4–16 years.
Reporting to the Netball Academy Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for a passionate coach to inspire young athletes, contribute to a dynamic and expanding programme, and progress into a future Lead Coach role.
The successful candidate will bring energy, expertise, and a genuine passion for developing student potential while creating an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging netball coaching sessions for students of varying ages and abilities
- Teach and demonstrate netball skills and techniques, identifying areas for improvement and correcting technique where required
- Deliver high-quality coaching during match days and competitions
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and student progress
- Provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and key stakeholders
- Support the supervision and development of part-time coaches and umpires
- Assist with the organisation of leagues, tournaments, trips, and tours
- Contribute to holiday camps, school promotional events, and interschool tournaments
- Support curriculum planning and student progress tracking
Essential
- Minimum Level 1 or Level 2 Netball Coaching Qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ coaching experience within a private or professional academy setting
- Strong communication skills with fluent spoken and written English
- Ability to motivate and engage students across a range of ages and abilities
- Good IT and administrative skills
• First Aid Qualification
- Valid safeguarding training
- Full driving licence
Desirable
- Umpire qualification
- Additional netball coaching certifications or badges
- Competitive netball playing experience
- Experience managing coaches or teams
- Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and sports programme development
