Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web API.
- Work on backend and frontend development, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript interfaces.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services, including booking engines, payment gateways, and GDS systems.
- Maintain travel applications such as booking systems, itinerary management, and fare/rate engines.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security; troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and QA teams in an Agile environment.
Required skills and experience
- Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server, LINQ, and Entity Framework.
- Travel-domain or travel-technology experience is mandatory.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with travel booking systems, GDS, itinerary management, or fare/rate engines.
- Understanding of third-party API and payment gateway integrations.
- Azure or AWS knowledge is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication, and teamwork abilities.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of professional full stack development experience.
