About This Role
Key Responsibilities
- **Maintenance & Repair:** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on shipboard electronics to ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and SOLAS regulations.
- **Installation & Commissioning:** Install and configure navigation and communication systems, including Radar, ECDIS, Gyro Compass, AIS, VDR, and GMDSS equipment.
- **Troubleshooting:** Diagnose and repair electronic faults in communication suites (VHF/MF/HF, VSAT) and navigation aids.
- **Compliance & Safety:** Ensure all work complies with IMO, Flag State, and Class Society regulations.
- **Documentation:** Prepare detailed service reports, job completion certificates, and technical reports.
- **Support:** Provide on-call support for emergency breakdowns, both locally and regionally.
- Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
