Role overview
Live-out nanny/housekeeper position with a family in JBR, Dubai.
Care for three children aged 9 years, 6 years and 4 months while managing day-to-day household tasks.
Children’s safety and wellbeing come first; household tasks should be organised around their care needs.
Childcare
- Provide attentive infant care, including changing nappies, bathing and settling the baby for naps.
- Clean and sterilise feeding equipment and maintain excellent hygiene.
- Prepare older children for school, including breakfast, dressing, school bags and lunchboxes.
- Accompany children to school and scheduled activities with the family driver and ensure their safety.
- Support children’s routines, organise their belongings and keep parents informed about their day or concerns.
Housekeeping and household support
- Clean and tidy bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas.
- Manage family laundry, including washing, drying, ironing, folding and putting clothes away.
- Change bed linen and towels and organise wardrobes and storage areas.
- Prepare family meals and suitable meals and snacks for older children; wash dishes and maintain kitchen hygiene.
- Monitor supplies, assist with shopping, carry out errands and handle other household tasks agreed with the family.
Requirements
- Proven infant-care and private-household nanny/housekeeper experience; confidence managing childcare and full household duties.
- Good English communication, patience, care, trustworthiness and punctuality.
- High cleanliness, hygiene and organisation standards; ability to plan tasks and take initiative.
- Contactable previous-employer references, own accommodation and reliable commute to JBR.
- Paediatric first aid/CPR training is an advantage.
Position details
- Full-time, live-out position; accommodation is not provided.
- Schedule is 6 days per week, 12 hours per day.
- Immediate start is preferred.
Pay
- AED 3,000–4,000 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person in JBR, Dubai.
