About The Role
We are now looking for an innovative
MYP Mathematics Maternity Cover Teacher
- to join this successful team, beginning on November 2026.
- The ideal candidate will already be located in the UAE and have their own visa.

Skills
- A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specialism in Mathematics
- Advanced qualifications are preferred but not essential
- A minimum of 3 years experience teaching Secondary/High School Mathematics, ideally within an IB curriculum school, however this is not mandatory
- A strong understanding of the IB MYP/DP framework and Approaches to Teaching is preferred
- A strong desire to continually improve their practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for their students
- November 2026 availability
- Must already have a visa to work in the UAE
- GEMS Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all of its students and staff.
- A UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check is a pre-requisite for all appointments.
