MYP Coordinator (9557)

We seek an individual to join as MYP Coordinator where your focus will be:

Leading the planning, implementation and ongoing review of the IB Middle Years Programme in line with IB standards and practices

Managing IB authorisation, evaluation and self-study processes; acting as the primary liaison with the IB organisation

Supporting, coaching and developing MYP teachers in effective programme delivery, unit design and assessment

Overseeing the Personal Project process, service as action and ATL skill development across the MYP

Leading the moderation and standardisation of MYP assessment across all subject groups

Coordinating eAssessment preparation and external moderation submissions

Leading MYP-focused staff CPD and ensuring engagement with Nord Anglia University

Communicating MYP expectations, progress and outcomes clearly to parents and the school community

A recognised teaching qualification and classroom teaching experience in an IB MYP school

IB MYP workshop training at Category 1 or 2 level

In-depth knowledge of MYP curriculum, assessment criteria, eAssessment and the Personal Project

Understanding of IB programme standards, practices and authorisation requirements

Experience in an IB coordinator or curriculum leadership role (desirable)

Excellent organisational, communication and coaching skills

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils

International school experience, ideally within the Middle East (desirable)
