Multi Skilled Operator - Anaerobic Digestion

Key Responsibilities:

• · Material handling operations using mobile plant machinery, ensuring compliance with site environmental permit and municipal contract
• · Work in accordance with SHEQ policies, including the reporting of close calls & incidents
• · Involvement in best practice and continuous improvement, undertaking regular site audits/checks
• · Close working relationship with BDR Management Team and staff
• · Comply with changes to company standards and legislation
• · Undertake light maintenance & cleaning of equipment
• · Assist site supervisor in reviewing maintenance activities, cost control, health & safety, behavioural safety observations, KPI’s and implementing necessary remedial actions in the event of variance
• · Ensure the highest level of housekeeping is maintained
• · To work in MBT & weighbridge areas of site where required
• Essential criteria:
• · Basic IT experience in Microsoft (SCADA would be desirable)
• · Loading Shovel Experience
• · Assisting delivering continuous improvement within an operational environment
• · Development and implementation of data capture and recording systems
• · Good understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance
• · Good people skills; be able to communicate at all levels throughout the company and externally
