Key Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Build end-to-end integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, including APIs, microservices, and message flows.
- API Implementation: Create and manage RESTful and SOAP APIs with proper governance, versioning, and documentation.
- Data Transformation: Use DataWeave for complex data mappings, transformations, and validations.
- Integration Patterns: Implement reusable components and templates using established integration patterns (e.g., request-reply, publish-subscribe, event-driven).
- Performance Optimization: Monitor integration health, troubleshoot issues, and tune for high throughput and low latency.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Integrate with GitLab/Jenkins/Azure DevOps pipelines for automated deployments and testing.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop unit and integration test cases to ensure robustness and reliability of Mule flows.
- Documentation: Maintain clear, detailed technical documentation and deployment guides.
- Collaboration: Work closely with solution architects and business analysts to translate requirements into technical designs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in MuleSoft development and API-led integration.
- Proficient in Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and Exchange.
- Strong in REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and OpenAPI specifications.
- Expertise in DataWeave, Java, or Groovy for customizations.
- Experience with MuleSoft CloudHub or Runtime Fabric deployments.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git, and DevOps automation.
- Familiarity with integration protocols such as HTTP, JMS, FTP, SFTP, and Kafka.
- Working knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, TLS, and other security standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (Mule 4) or higher.
- Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with API Gateways, event-driven architectures, or microservices frameworks.
- Exposure to monitoring tools like DataDog, Splunk, or Anypoint Monitoring.
