About This Role
The Role
- Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and schema objects
- Work on data modeling, schema design (Star/Snowflake), and metadata management
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization
- Perform performance tuning at report, SQL, and database levels
- Troubleshoot issues related to reports, data, and performance
- Perform user management, roles, and access control (security setup)
- Monitor system performance, usage, and optimize Intelligence Server
- Handle project migrations using Object Manager.
- Schedule and manage report distribution, subscriptions, and caching
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in MicroStrategy (Developer, Architect, Web)
- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server.
- Experience with Power BI (DAX, Data Modeling, Visualization)
- Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (ETL, Fact/Dimension tables, SCDs)
- Experience in query optimization and performance tuning
- Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus
