Role overview

Duties and responsibilities

• Support GFEBS transactions across funds management, spending-chain processing, MIPRs, reimbursable business, GPC, labor allocation, cost management, and Project Systems/WBS.
• Generate GFEBS reports on funds, commitments, obligations, and cost management; review errors and recommend corrections.
• Implement standardized cost models and develop pricing structures to recover costs from direct and reimbursable customers.
• Analyze indirect costs, indirect rates, support agreements, customer consumption, revenue, funds received, and budget execution.
• Develop dashboard components comparing financial execution with TDA requirements and authorizations, and respond to detailed cost-rate inquiries.
• Train staff in GFEBS cost capture, reports, data extraction, interpretation, and corrective action; generate ad hoc reports by suspense dates.
• Use and review cost models to support performance measurement, manpower surveys, process improvement, and appropriate cost recovery.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for cost accounting, GFEBS cost management, and cost analysis.

Education, skills, and experience

• At least two years of experience using an automated financial system such as GFEBS.
• A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, two full years of progressively higher-level education toward such a degree, or a combination of education and work experience is described as preferred or acceptable.
• Specialized experience in federal appropriations law, federal budget analysis, and financial reporting is sought; Army budget experience is preferred.
